“K-drama is love.” Filipinos continue to adapt telenovelas coming from nearby asian counties particularly South Korea. More than decades ago, when these dramas were born in our country. We cannot deny the fact that it is already part of our daily lives. We share with them our laughters, tears, and somewhat the feeling of having a butterflies in our bellies. Korean drama, also known in the shorter term k-drama catches the hearts of our fellow Filipinos. We have this so-called “K-Drama Fever”. It is the craze of K-drama fanatics that helps to the foundation of different websites that organize and gather K-drama fans into one forum.
As a k-drama fan, we allot time just to watch the latest episodes of that certain television series. We say, “uy, may mga latest episode ka na?”(English: Hey, do you have now the latest episode?) Or ” Bes, excited na ako sa next episode (Best? I’m excited for the next episode.). Ano na kaya mangyayari sa bida”(What would likely to happen to the protagonist?). Other fans would also say,”Day, bakit siya pa ng namatay?” (Gurl? Why did she died?). It’s funny, right? We already engaged ourselves to K-drama that sometimes we forgot that we are already shredding tears that floss from our eyes or in other way, we feel like we’re crazy laughing all alone while watching it in our devices.
